Disclaimer:

Welcome to Missouri Assistive Technology’s Swap ‘n Shop equipment exchange program, a “classified ads” service that connects people with available adaptive devices or assistive technology! Missouri Assistive Technology provides a listing of equipment that consumers would like to buy, sell, trade or donate.

Please read the following information carefully. To continue into the Swap ‘n Shop listings, you must click the button at the bottom of the page to acknowledge that you've read and accepted this information.

Missouri Assistive Technology will not be responsible for any negotiations that occur between the buyer and seller. This is a person-to-person exchange program. Buyers and sellers are responsible for any purchase or sale agreements that take place, as well as determining the condition of the equipment and its appropriateness for the intended user. In addition, buyers and sellers are responsible for all arrangements to transport the equipment.

Swap ‘n Shop is designed to facilitate transactions between Missouri residents, and does not profit from the sale of listed devices.

If you list an item, your first name, city, telephone number and/or email address will appear on the website.

If you are interested in listing equipment or have any questions, please call David at (800) 647-8557 in Missouri or (816) 655-6703 or email david.bkr@att.net with the following information:

  • Contact person's full name, phone number and mailing address;

  • Email address;

  • Equipment description;

  • If you want to sell, donate or trade equipment;

  • If selling, the asking price;

  • Agreement to communication when the equipment is sold, donated, or traded.

Once an item is sold, the seller should contact our office to ask for the item to be removed. If you are a buyer and come across an item listed that is no longer available, you can report this to David at (800) 647-8557.

By accepting these terms, you agree to hold Missouri Assistive Technology harmless should you experience a problem with any transaction through your interaction with the Swap ‘n Shop equipment exchange program. You must enter through this page each time you enter the Swap ‘n Shop.

The equipment-listing page is updated periodically throughout the month.

I have read and accept these terms.
